We headed over to the Zoo for July 4th. It was hot, but it worked well for us to go in the morning then splash around in the fountains for a while.

The beach week has come and gone again. The memorable parts were rain, clouds and jellyfish. But, we did have a good time. Samantha really enjoyed the pool more than the beach and wanted to spend all her time there. Ellie enjoyed both.
Samantha is deeply afraid of getting her ears wet. In the bath tub and, now that it is summer, in the pool, this presents a problem.
We started swimming lessons last week, and she made significant progress in the 3 days of lessons. We will continue this week in hopes of solidifying her independence in the water. Let’s …
